About Me

I am a third year undergraduate student at the University of Hong Kong, studying Applied Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.

I am passionate about artificial intelligence technologies (automatic machine learning frameworks, computer vision, LLMs, model inference and deployment), full-stack development (different frontend frameworks and libraries, high-performance backend design and CRUD), cloud computing (like GCP and DigitalOcean that I've used before) and DevOps (CI/CD, IaC, large-scale distributed system management). The order of these interests does not indicate my proficiency nor my interest level (In that case, you might stalk my GitHub starred repositories to better know what I really like!).

I will have an upcoming exchange semester at Fudan University, Shanghai in Fall 2026 (HKUWW application in progress). I will be taking courses under their Computer Science department. If you are interested, feel free to contact me via email!

I was an open-source enthusiast. As a former member of the PyInstaller development team, I actively contributed hook patch requests to the pyinstaller-hooks-contrib repository, collaborating with developers such as bwoodsend and rokm.

Why do I love computer science? It was never simply AI, programming, or development. It is the mindset of knowing something is happening underneath. You are surprised and you want to know why. And after you understand that at this low level, something even more happens at a much lower level and you are surprised again. I feel like this kind of stuff is really interesting.
